Hasenscheisse - Acoustic Guitar Trash Balladen

Hasenscheisse are an institution and a hidden gem rolled into one. For years, this Berlin-Potsdam band has been touring the country, captivating audiences with their unmistakable "trash ballads" from four albums now. The "Hasen" tell their stories in the finest Berlin dialect - seemingly nonsensical yet often pseudo-philosophical lyrics that, on closer inspection, frequently reveal deeper meaning. Their fantastical tales leave listeners grinning and wondering what twisted corners of the brain could have spawned such ideas. But there's little time to ponder: Hasenscheisse concerts are pure entertainment, the music drives you to dance, and hits like "Bernd am Grill", "Die Waden eines Barden", and "Die nackte Elfe" stick in your head immediately, inviting sing-alongs.

The band brings along a limited double-vinyl edition of their songs, recorded together with the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg.

And so it proves once again: many bands have great names but deliver musical garbage. With Hasenscheisse, it's the other way around.
