Martin Fröst is today among the most renowned representatives of Swedish musical culture worldwide. As a clarinetist, conductor, arranger, and programmatic visionary, he seeks dialogue with his audience through unconventional means - in Peenemünde, through Mozart's clarinet concerto, he demonstrates how deeply classical tradition matters to him.

About: Martin Fröst

Martin Fröst is a Swedish clarinettist widely regarded as one of the most distinctive voices on his instrument in classical music today. He combines technical mastery with a strong theatrical presence, often weaving movement and gesture into his performances. Anders Hillborg's clarinet concerto Peacock Tales was written specifically for him.

The Historisch-Technisches Museum Peenemünde occupies the former power plant of the Nazi-era rocket research facility on the island of Usedom, where the V-2 ballistic missile was developed in the 1930s and 1940s. The permanent exhibition covers the history of rocket and weapons technology, forced labour at the site, and the Cold War era. Outdoor exhibits include a V-2 rocket and a Soviet submarine.
