Iris Oettinger - described by American trombonist Dan Barrett as "a fun swinging drummer" - takes her audience on a musical journey through the streets of New Orleans and Louisiana. Her band, all seasoned jazz musicians with reputations well beyond Germany, swings through the 1920s, 30s and 40s, with a Caribbean feel thrown in.

The occasion is a Weißwurst-Jazzfrühschoppen - music that makes it very hard to stay in your seat.
