Pettson is an old, slightly eccentric man who lives on the edge of a Swedish village, spending his days tinkering with all manner of peculiar contraptions in his little house. One day a box arrives on his doorstep marked "Findus" - and out jumps a small talking cat. The old man gains a housemate and names him Findus. From that moment on, the days fly by as the two new friends share countless adventures involving vain hens, a fiery bull, and a greedy fox.
