Local Heroes - 4 Rock Bands in One Evening

Kulturverein Peißenberg presents four regional rock and pop acts on the stage of Tiefstollenhalle under the Local Heroes format. The evening offers a mix of well-known cover versions and original songs. The line-up:

Die Betriebskapelle
Die Betriebskapelle, originally a workplace cover-rock project, opens the night with rock and pop classics. Singer Martin Gesche and his "colleagues" set the mood for a lively start to the evening.

Steelcats
This well-known rockabilly band from the Bavarian Oberland was born out of a pure love of rockabilly and its lifestyle. Beloved classics from the last four decades alongside original songs - the audience is taken along for the ride from the very first note!

Best Cellar R@z
The Weilheim cover band Best Cellar R@z stands for handcrafted rock music - that is their passion. Their repertoire ranges from hard-hitting rockers to melodic rock ballads, drawing from the musical vault of Deep Purple, Cream, the Stones... through to ZZ Top.

The Ultimate Silverbeet
The motto of these five musicians is as simple as it is convincing: "As long as it grooves!" The Weilheim band The Ultimate Silverbeet channels the spirit of 60s and 70s pop music, blending it with hard rock, blues and funk into driving original compositions.
