Blues and Boogie Woogie Classics and Original Compositions

Thomas Scheytt is regarded as "one of the finest contemporary boogie and blues pianists. His playing combines exceptional pianistic skill with an incredible, deeply felt range of expression" (Jazzpodium Deutschland).

On Sunday, 14 February 2027 at 5:30 pm, he brings blues and boogie woogie classics alongside his own compositions to the Martinskirche in Müllheim.

Scheytt is one of the busiest musicians on the European blues and boogie scene. For over 20 years he has performed not only as a soloist but also with his trio Boogie Connection at jazz clubs and festivals across Europe and beyond - including four appearances at the world-famous New Orleans Jazz Festival in Ascona.

He has received numerous accolades, most notably a nomination of his CD Blues Colours for the German Record Critics' Award and two wins of the German Blues Award in 2015.
