Ferdinand von Schirach - An Evening with Ferdinand von Schirach

On 12 and 13 September 2026, Ferdinand von Schirach comes to the E.T.A.-Hoffmann-Theater in Bamberg for two intimate performances - close to the audience, away from established formats.

He will read and narrate texts that are not conceived as finished works. The focus lies on themes currently occupying the author: responsibility and closeness, what connects and what divides people. The programme is deliberately open-ended, leaving room for improvisation.

Both evenings are designed as an experiment that will take place exclusively at the E.T.A.-Hoffmann-Theater in Bamberg. Other events for a larger audience are planned for a later date.
