MS N° 1 - Répertoire Extraordinaire

An evening of magic created as a counterpart to table-theatre shows: intimate and personal, yet for a larger audience - featuring performances deliberately "extraordinaire". Since then, the three performers have continuously developed the programme, crafting a blend of comedic elements and magical artistry.

Unlike the table-theatre shows, there is no round table here, but rather a salon theatre with tiered seating - space for a maximum of 82 guests who experience the action up close. The performances are more elaborate than the table shows, yet perfectly visible from every seat. A reminiscence of the golden age of salon magic.

The inspiration for such evenings came from French illusionist Jean Eugène Robert-Houdin (1805-1871): in the mid-19th century, he opened the Théâtre Robert-Houdin in the old Palais Royal, where he captivated Parisian audiences with elegant tricks, optical illusions, and mental magic. Rather than the customary conjurer costumes of the time, he opted for contemporary clothing and a style that particularly appealed to intellectual audiences - thereby shaping the image of magicians for several generations.
