The Gregorian Voices

Eight men in brown robes enter the hall. A breathtaking silence fills the room. The singers and the choir space are bathed in mystical violet light, their faces barely visible. Then the hoods fall - from the previously shadowy silhouettes emerge the faces of the artists, and their voices ring out in powerful a cappella singing.

The singers create a mystical atmosphere that takes the audience on a journey through the world of medieval sacred music - a soundscape without temporal, religious, or linguistic boundaries. With Orthodox church music and sacred songs and madrigals, the fascinating journey continues through the centuries to the present day.

After this captivating excursion comes a surprisingly lively turn: pop music classics in a new arrangement of Gregorian chant.
