Extrawurst - by Dietmar Jacobs and Moritz Netenjakob

It should have been a simple formality: a tennis club's general meeting votes on buying a new grill. The trouble starts when someone proposes funding a separate grill for the club's only Turkish member - devout Muslims cannot prepare their sausages on a grate that has touched pork. A well-meaning idea sets off a storm of debate and pushes the otherwise peaceful club to its limits.

"Extrawurst" is a comedy by Dietmar Jacobs and Moritz Netenjakob, the writers behind TV formats such as "Die Wochenshow", "Ladykracher", "Das Amt" and "Stromberg". After celebrated runs on many stages, the satirical play is also coming to the cinema screen in 2026.
