Wickie and the Strong Men

Regionentheater presents the children's play "Wickie and the Strong Men" for children aged 5 and up - approximately 55 minutes without intermission.

Wickie, a small, seemingly weak Viking boy, proves that cleverness matters more than muscle power. With his smart ideas, he rescues the supposedly strong from difficult situations and becomes a celebrated hero. The play is based on the children's books by Swedish author Runer Jonsson.

Director Andreas Jendrusch has adapted the text specifically for Regionentheater and assembled an ensemble of five actors. The performers enthusiastically switch roles and bring the Viking world of Flake to the stage - including the fearsome Sven. The production features imaginative set design, authentic costumes, and live singing with guitar music.
