Matthias Jung is a trained educator, father of two, and SPIEGEL bestselling author - known as a coach for adolescence and family matters. In his programme "Chill mal - Am Ende der Geduld ist noch viel Pubertät übrig", he takes audiences into the world of today's teenagers: heated debates about school and tidying their rooms, WhatsApp as essential for survival, hygiene as vastly overrated. He offers scientific insights into teenage behaviour and brain development - fact-rich and delivered with humour.

Matthias Jung began his career as a television writer, including for the heute-show, and has been touring Germany with his programmes since 2006. His book "Chill mal - Am Ende der Geduld ist noch viel Pubertät übrig" was published in 2018 and spent several months on the SPIEGEL bestseller list. "Erziehungsstatus: Kompliziert" followed in 2022, and "Immer darf ich alles nie" in October 2024.
