6th Symphony Concert

Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie returns to Detmold for its sixth symphonic concert on Tuesday, 20 April 2027 at 19:30 in the Konzerthaus. The orchestra is undertaking a six-date German tour, with four performances taking place in this city. Conducted by Jonathan Bloxham and featuring violinist Maria Ioudenitch, the programme presents Konstantia Gourzi's Variationen 21, Benjamin Britten's Violin Concerto op. 15, and Robert Schumann's Symphony No. 1 in B-flat major op. 38, the "Spring Symphony". The concert pairs contemporary composition with classical Romantic repertoire.
