German-American multi-instrumentalist Chris Hopkins, a multiple award winner, ranks among the world's most prolific performing artists, with over 5,000 live concerts worldwide. For more than three decades, he has demonstrated how to live your dream, achieve success, and use your music to bring together and inspire countless people around the globe. Along his journey, he has frequently shared the stage with jazz legends such as Clark Terry, Scott Hamilton, Butch Miles, Till Brönner, and Götz Alsmann.

Equally skilled on piano and saxophone, he impresses with musical creativity and tremendous drive. He has participated in over 50 album productions, many of which have won prestigious awards including the "German Record Critics' Award" and the "Prix de l'Academie du Jazz, Paris". Recently, he was honored for his contributions to classical jazz in Europe with the title "Keeper of the Flame" and the coveted "Jazz-Pott Award" as "Best Progressive Artist".

Since the 1990s, Chris Hopkins has often performed as the youngest band member. Now he is delighted to present for the first time some of the most talented jazz musicians of a new generation - discovered through his teaching position at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne, all between 23 and 33 years old - the "Young Lions" and their brand-new collaborative album "CHRIS HOPKINS meets the YOUNG LIONS: Live! Vol. 2".
