Ukulele Death Squad

Ukulele Death Squad is a 6-8-piece folk-punk band from Adelaide, Australia, with pronounced Tarantino influences. Since their formation in 2017, the group has won a global audience; their Adelaide debut and Edinburgh Fringe appearance were both named Best Music Act at Adelaide Fringe in 2018.

Musically, the band moves between flamenco, ska, folk, jazz, pop and rock - seasoned with a hefty dose of dark humour. On stage they combine "hardcore" ukulele with rich vocal harmonies, stomping rhythms, audacious solos and sultry saxophone. Their live shows are so intense that strings and ukuleles alike break during performances.

In 2023, The Ukulele Death Squad embark on a long-awaited post-pandemic tour across Australia and Europe with new members and new material.
