Herborner Oktoberfest - Opening with Mission:2Party and Mickie Krause

The 6th Herborner Oktoberfest runs from 9 to 11 and again on 16 and 17 October 2026 at the Festplatz on Walkmühlenweg. The event is organised once more by Festbetriebe Böckl from the Upper Palatinate, with support from Herborner Stadtmarketing. Benediktiner beer will be on tap throughout.

The festival kicks off on Friday, 10 October, with the traditional barrel-tapping ceremony and a live music programme: Mission:2Party warms up the crowd, followed by Mickie Krause taking the stage. On Saturday, 11 October, the band Highline from the Upper Palatinate performs before Lorenz Büffel - back for the second time since 2023 - gets the party going with hits like "Baila" and "Johnny Däpp". The first weekend wraps up on Sunday, 12 October, with the traditional Frühschoppen from 11 a.m.; the Musikverein Herbornseelbach plays and entry is free.

The second weekend opens on Friday, 16 October, with cover band EVE alongside Ikke Hüftgold. The closing night on Saturday, 17 October, features "Blechblos'n" together with Anna-Maria Zimmermann, who will perform "1000 Träume weit" and "Himmelblaue Augen".

Tickets for a seat in the main hall cost 29.90 euros per evening across all four nights. Table reservations in the main hall are free of charge and available for groups of at least eight - by email at tischreservierung@herborn.de or by phone at 02772/708 223. There are also separate, slightly raised box areas accommodating up to 50 people when booked in full; smaller groups can rent part of a box too.
