Anna-Maria Zimmermann (born 14 December 1988 in Gütersloh, North Rhine-Westphalia) is a German Schlager and pop singer who first came to public attention as a finalist on the third season of *Deutschland sucht den Superstar* in 2005-2006. Her 2009 cover "1000 Träume weit (Tornerò)" marked her commercial breakthrough, and she has since released eight studio albums. In October 2010 she survived a helicopter crash that left her with life-threatening injuries; her recovery and return to the stage became a defining chapter of her career. She now plays over 170 live dates a year and is one of the most active performers on the German-language Schlager circuit.
