Peter Orloff & Schwarzmeer-Kosaken Chor - Total Emotional - Anniversary Tour
Eine-Welt-Kirche, Schneverdingen, Germany
Peter Orloff marks 60 years on stage alongside the Schwarzmeer Kosaken-Chor with a specially conceived anniversary tour titled "Total Emotional".
Orloff launched his career as the youngest singer in any Cossack choir in the world, performing with the Schwarzmeer Kosaken-Chor alongside Ivan Rebroff. He went on to become a Schlager legend: 19 chart entries of his own, numerous gold records - as a singer ("Ein Mädchen für immer", "Königin der Nacht"), lyricist (Bernd Clüver's "Junge mit der Mundharmonika") and composer (Peter Maffay's all-time biggest hit "Du", as well as "Der kleine Prinz", recorded by Andrea Berg, Helene Fischer and the Amigos). As a producer he worked with Heino, Freddy Quinn and Julio Iglesias, among others. In the ZDF-Hitparade he holds the second-best re-entry record of all time, behind only Chris Roberts.
In 2019 he reached the final of the Dschungelcamp reality show and became a fan favourite - the press dubbed him "Chuck Norris of the Jungle" and "Jungle King of Hearts". That same year the CD "Teure Heimat" with the Schwarzmeer Kosaken-Chor shot to number 2 in the official German sales charts (folk music), and the album finished in the annual Top 20. In January 2020 he received two SMAGO Awards - for "Schlager-Titan" and "Dschungelkönig der Herzen".
The concert is under the overall musical direction of Peter Orloff, who will also perform personally as a soloist.
