Founded in 1977, they started out as the house band every Sunday at "Memoland" in Munich's Schwabing district. After self-releasing a record and catching the attention of radio and TV host Georg Kostya, the breakthrough came. A first record deal followed, and in 1980 their first tour. A lot has happened since - their 40th anniversary in 2017 sold out the Olympiahalle twice, they released two gold albums, "Skandal im Sperrbezirk" hit number one three times, and Chuck Berry himself named them alongside the Beatles and Rolling Stones as "Covered Berry", honouring them as true representatives of rock'n'roll.
