For centuries, people have told the story of Beauty and the Beast and the power of a love so strong it can break even a curse - the curse that turned a prince into a fearsome beast. One day, a poor merchant wanders into the castle garden and picks a rose, and the Beast demands a steep price. From that moment on, the merchant's youngest daughter Belle must live in the enchanted castle. Her initial fear soon gives way to curiosity as she discovers that beneath the Beast's rough exterior lies a gentle heart - and that she can even laugh and dance with him. Yet Belle is torn, haunted by questions: who is the mysterious prince she sees in the mirror? And why do enchanted creatures roam the castle? Belle sets out to find the answers...
