A carnivorous plant devours its keeper and sets its sights on world domination.

It sounds like a fairy tale: shop assistant Seymour saves his boss's struggling flower shop from closure by placing a strange plant in the window. The plant's eerie presence doesn't just make business boom - the media take notice, and so does Audrey, the pretty shop girl Seymour has secretly adored. But happiness comes at a price: the plant demands human blood. The dream of a little house with a garden does come true for Audrey and Seymour - just not quite the way they imagined.

This cult musical is a clever blend of horror, science fiction and love story. The score draws on pop, rock, funk and ballad.
