Ebinger Kammerorchester meets Spitzenklänge - Concert with Simon Zhu
Festhalle Albstadt, Germany
25 €
This year's symphony concert titled "ebinger kammerorchester meets Spitzenklänge" takes place in the tenth anniversary year of the association "Spitzenklänge". Following a highly successful concert with former "Spitzenklänge" scholarship recipient Simon Zhu two years ago, the ensemble has once again secured this internationally performing soloist, now crowned with the Paganini Prize, to perform a concert in his former hometown.
He received his first violin lessons at MuKS in Albstadt from Renate Musat, who recognized his talent early and accompanied his successful musical journey through Freiburg, Berlin, Salzburg, and Munich. His list of prize wins includes the Menuhin Competition, the Mozart Prize, and in 2023 the first prize at the Paganini Competition in Genoa. Following this success, his concert career has reached an entirely new dimension. He tours the world, performing with renowned orchestras under distinguished conductors in the world's finest concert halls. With the ebinger kammerorchester, he will perform at his request the Violin Concerto in E minor by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.
After the intermission, the ebinger kammerorchester will perform Symphony No. 8, the "Great C major" Symphony by Franz Schubert.
As tradition dictates, the orchestra is supported by wind players from the Württemberg Philharmonic Reutlingen.
Musical direction is in the capable hands of Martin Künstner.
