Description was written before the event

The jazz-metal quintet led by guitarist, composer and arranger Jan Zehrfeld has achieved cult status worldwide in the progressive, math, djent, tech-metal and jazz-fusion scenes. Through their original compositions and radically reimagined covers - the legendary "Verkrassungen" - the band has developed a distinctive style: complex, humorous and organic at once, somewhere between virtuosic power and effortless lightness. Zehrfeld's motto says it all: "Headbangen mit Köpfchen".

Virgil Donati has been one of the most influential drummers in the international fusion and progressive scene for decades. He has worked with Steve Vai, Allan Holdsworth, Tony MacAlpine, Kiko Loureiro, Scott Henderson and Steve Walsh. Bassist Anton Davidyants gained international recognition with the power-fusion trio Impact Fuze and has since toured with Guthrie Govan, Eric Marienthal and Damien Schmitt.

The evening centres on the current album "Übercode Œuvre", which has been celebrated by press and audiences worldwide.

About: Panzerballett

Panzerballett is a German jazz-metal quintet led by guitarist and composer Jan Zehrfeld.
