Fanfare Ciocărlia | The Devil Rides Again

When Fanfare Ciocărlia strikes up, no foot stays still. Since their international breakthrough in the late 1990s, the Romanian brass band has been synonymous with breathtaking speed, technical brilliance and unbridled musical joy - recognised with, among others, the BBC Radio 3 Award for World Music and the Songlines Music Award.

With "The Devil Rides Again" they bring their latest programme: a high-energy ride through Balkan brass, jazz and rock'n'roll, where original compositions meet fresh takes on well-known classics. Rapid brass lines and driving rhythms, paired with a wild stage presence - the band's unmistakable sound leaves no room for half-measures.

Fanfare Ciocărlia are no strangers to Jazztage Dresden, and their return to the Parkhotel Dresden is sure to be eagerly awaited.
