Warendorfer Hengstparaden 2026

The NRW State Stud in Warendorf marks its 200th anniversary with three parades: the Warendorfer Hengstparaden on 19 and 20 September 2026, and the Parade at Night on 26 September 2026.\n\nPresenter Carsten Sostmeier guides the audience through a programme featuring around 100 horses. Highlights include driving displays with historical carriages and various harnessing styles, quadrilles in traditional uniforms, and acrobatic acts. The Rheinisch-Deutsches Kaltblut - a cold-blood breed preserved at the stud - also appears in a range of disciplines. The Night Parade begins at dusk, with illuminated historic stables and a parade ground ringed by market stalls setting the scene.\n\nA food and drink lane around the parade ground offers both sweet and savoury options. On parade days the stud opens at 11:00, the stables are open for viewing from 11:00 to 13:00, and the show starts at 14:00 (ending around 17:30). For the Night Parade, gates open at 16:00, stable tours run from 16:00 to 18:00, and the show begins at 19:00 (ending around 22:30). All three events include a 45-minute interval.\n\nFood and drinks: Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Bag checks are carried out at the entrances on a random basis.\n\nDogs: Not allowed in the seated grandstands. Dogs on a lead are welcome elsewhere on the stud grounds.\n\nParking: Parkplatz Lohwall, Zwischen den Emsbrücken 2, Warendorf.\n\nGroup discounts: Groups of 10 or more receive 10% off per ticket; groups of 20 or more receive 20% - across all seating categories. Group bookings by phone only via the hotline. PM members also receive a 20% discount per ticket.\n\nChildren: Under 14: 50% discount; under 3: free entry without a seat.\n\nVisitors with disabilities: Wheelchair spaces are available. Wheelchair users with a "B" badge can purchase the relevant ticket in the online shop or by phone.
