A spectacular musical production
Theater Liberi, well known for its modern family musicals, brings Edgar Rice Burroughs' century-old story to the stage in a fresh, contemporary version. Imaginative costumes, a playful and colourful set, and atmospheric lighting recreate the jungle world Tarzan calls home. Musically, the show takes the audience on a varied journey across genres, with impressive arrangements and genuine emotional impact. A highly trained ensemble ensures that characters, music and scenery come together as a seamless whole.

Adventure in the jungle
A young family is shipwrecked and, barely reaching the African coast, is attacked by wild animals. Left behind is a small boy - alone and orphaned - who is taken in by the female ape Kala and raised as her own. Although Tarzan finds a home among the apes and a close friend in the young ape Tee, the troop leader Kerchak makes it clear, year after year, that Tarzan does not truly belong. That sense of not yet having found his place in the world grows even stronger when Tarzan encounters humans for the first time. Professor Porter, his curious daughter Jane, and the shady Olivia Clayton are on an expedition to explore the jungle. Tarzan and Jane gradually grow closer - but then events take a dramatic turn, and Tarzan and his ape family face grave danger...
