Violina Petrychenko (piano) was born in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, into a family of musicians and began playing the piano at the age of six. At the music gymnasium she studied piano and musicology, initially focusing more on the academic side. She took part in international conferences as well as piano competitions. At 12 she competed in the International Prokofiev Competition, and at 16 her first theoretical paper was published. She passed both diplomas with distinction. From 2007 she studied at the Hochschule für Musik "FRANZ LISZT" in Weimar, then continued her piano studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne under Prof. Jacob Leuschner.

Kateryna Kostiuk (violin) is from Kyiv, where she first picked up the violin at the age of five. She spent her early study years in Moscow and from 2014 studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. Having completed her bachelor's degree, she is currently pursuing a master's in orchestral performance at the Orchesterzentrum in Dortmund. At a very young age she won, among other prizes, the international violin competition "Josef Musia" in the Czech Republic and is a laureate of the international violin competition "Remember Enescu" in Romania. Since 2015 she has served as concertmaster at the International Young Orchestra Academy in Germany.
