Elena Seeger - Laubbläserlyrik

Elena Seeger is a musical comedian who has received, among other awards, the Förderpreis des Kleinkunstpreises Baden-Württemberg 2025 and the Landespreis für Dialekt 2024. Her programme "Laubbläserlyrik" moves between musical cabaret, singer-songwriter fare and Swabian chanson - delivered with energy, humour and self-deprecation.

Everyday subjects become unexpected stories in her hands: sweet Springerle cookies as a symbol of time ticking away, complaining as a relaxation technique, the leaf blower as a lyrical experience. Along the way she asks the pressing questions of our age - what would my vegetables say if they could talk? Is ChatGPT the ideal therapist? Are Swabians perhaps the better minimalists?

Alongside songs in standard German, she keeps returning to the Swabian dialect - warm, idiosyncratic and surprisingly poetic.
