Peace Concert

Motto: "So Comes Peace"

Peace means the loud laughter of children, waking without fear, joy in the new day, and gratitude in the evening for a day well spent. Our conductor Tilmann Albrecht has prepared songs that celebrate life, such as "Touridion", a cheerful drinking song, in German: "When I drink good wine". The ladies and gentlemen sing the beautiful evening song "Kein schöner Land" in a multi-part arrangement.

When our singers perform "Pater Nostra" by Dutch composer Albert de Klerk, the "Lord's Prayer" becomes a prayer for peace. Of course, we do not forget: "Who would not wish to live?" and "Little White Dove of Peace". From our honorary member Manfred Schlenker, we will hear the sacred compositions "Give Peace, Lord, Give Peace!" and "Peace".

Sybille Kutschke-Stange will present appropriate lyrics, expressing our longing for peace.
