#halbzwölf - Sonntalk with Peter Großmann
UNESCO-Welterbe Zollverein, Essen, Germany
12 €
Since August 2016, the Zollverein Foundation has revived the old Ruhr Valley tradition of the morning schnapps gathering. "#halbzwölf is colourful, chaotic, and different every time. From music through cabaret to entertaining conversations - everything happens here," describes the format Peter Großmann, its creator and host.
Peter Großmann, presenter of the ARD morning magazine, is known to millions of viewers. Fewer people know that the 60-year-old Großmann is a native of the Ruhr Valley. The father and grandfather of this Dortmund-born man once worked in the mines, and he himself remains deeply connected to the region and its traditions.
#halbzwölf combines humour with substance and deliberately breaks the conventions of typical talk shows. The three invited guests not only answer Peter Großmann's questions but also exchange ideas with each other. Moreover, each artist has the opportunity for a solo performance.
In 2026, selected Sundays will once again open the stage for the colourful Ruhr Valley morning gathering at Zollverein Colliery.
