#halbzwölf - Sonntalk with Peter Großmann

Since August 2016, the Zollverein Foundation has revived the Ruhr region's Frühschoppen tradition with #halbzwölf. The format was created by Peter Großmann - ARD-Morgenmagazin sports presenter, born in Dortmund and, as he puts it, a true child of the Ruhr. He also hosts every edition.

The concept is deliberately open-ended: music, cabaret, and discussion rounds alternate, the three invited guests play off each other, and solo performances by individual artists are a fixed element. "#halbzwölf is colourful, chaotic, and different every time," Großmann describes the format himself.

In 2026, three editions take place at Zollverein Colliery on Sundays, each starting at 11:30:
