Far from a Silent Night

As they do every year, Nina and Dirk have invited the whole family over for Christmas. Dirk has gone with everyone to a nativity play, leaving Nina alone at home to prepare dinner in peace - or so the official story goes. In reality, she wants to enjoy the "calm before the storm." Just as she settles onto the sofa, the doorbell rings. Nina is startled when a Santa Claus suddenly appears at her door - her attractive fitness trainer Jonas. She's not keen on his offer of a spontaneous affair, but such a tempting gift can't be refused. Shortly after they embrace beneath the Christmas tree, Jonas realizes he's forgotten something important in his car. Still in his Santa suit, he disappears out the front door.

Nina heads to the kitchen to open a bottle of champagne. The moment the living room empties, Dirk enters through the terrace doors and immediately - as one might expect - puts on a Santa suit. When Nina returns, she's surprised by her trainer's seemingly quick return. As she realizes her mistake, panic sets in, for the situation threatens to unravel. Dirk must disappear as quickly as possible… but where!? The answer to this question sets the Christmas comedy carousel spinning, and Nina tumbles from one awkward situation to the next. The evening reaches its peak when a third Santa rings her doorbell. Who that is will remain a secret for now. Before the family returns from the nativity play, there are many comic obstacles to overcome, so that by the end of this farce, nothing stands in the way of a "silent night." Don't miss
