Four colleagues - Sam, Paul, Georg, and Manuel - work for Canadian Parcel Service (CPS) in Halifax. Although shipping manager Frank Collins constantly applies pressure, the men enjoy their job. Everything changes when Georg faces dismissal because he is deemed too old for the work. The team's morale completely collapses when Sam learns by chance that Frank's seven-year-old daughter Betty suffers from a serious eye disease. An operation could prevent blindness, but it costs 40,000 dollars. Since Frank doesn't have the money, the men spontaneously decide to pool their savings. However, they are still short 18,500 dollars. Then they have an idea: why not organize a drag show to raise the missing money for Betty?
After initial difficulties, the four men begin rehearsing in secret after work. Colleague Georg arranges costumes from his gay friend, and Sam's mother becomes the choreographer. After many exhausting rehearsals, the moment finally arrives: the show is sold out, and Betty's operation can proceed. The play ends with a spectacular performance by all the guys in glittering costumes. This comedy shows how much can be achieved through solidarity.
In Kerry Renard's comedy from the Comedy at Altstadtmarkt, Tanja Schumann, Kay Szacknys, Sebastian Teichner, Kristof Stößel, Bernd E. Jäger van Boxen, and Gurmit Bhogal perform.
