Morning devotion on the viewing platform

Greeting the day at an early hour, somewhere between heaven and earth: it is 6 o'clock in the morning. The sun has risen and casts its first light through the windows of the Frauenkirche. Like walking the cloister of a monastery, guests pass arch by arch up the spiral ramp to the viewing platform. The meditative ascent to the dome is already part of the devotion itself.

At the top, music greets participants as they step outside and the sweeping view over the city and the Elbe valley opens up before them. A new day. The biblical words take on a different quality - fresh and new - against the backdrop of this morning scene above Dresden's rooftops.
