"Kraftvoll" (Part 1)

Barbican Quartet performs in Hagen a.T.W. on Saturday, 26 September 2026 at 18:00 in Ehemalige Kirche Hagen, presenting the first part of the "Kraftvoll" project. The concert is part of Musica Viva's two-part cycle tracing the history of the string quartet from its origins to the present day. Barbican Quartet, winner of the first prize at the ARD Music Competition 2022, plays works by Joseph Haydn, with Sebastian Ströbel reading texts between individual pieces. The second part of the evening features the Hamburg-based Kaiserquartett. Admission is 19.80 euros.
