"Kraftvoll" (Part 2)

"Kraftvoll" (Part 2) is the second part of a double concert by Musica Viva, bringing together the Barbican Quartet, the Hamburg Kaiserquartett, and actor Sebastian Ströbel.

The first part features the Barbican Quartet - winner of the 1st Prize at the ARD International Music Competition 2022 - performing works by Joseph Haydn. The Kaiserquartett takes up the idea of four equal voices and develops it with their own compositions, which blend classical and pop music. Between the musical segments, actor Sebastian Ströbel reads selected texts.

Both concerts can be booked separately; those attending both parts will follow an arc from the origins of the string quartet to the present day - spanning more than two and a half centuries of musical history.
