MEMENTO ODESA 2026 - Sebastian Studnitzky & Band / Odesa Chamber Orchestra - Conductor: Volodymyr Dykyi

Sebastian Studnitzky (trumpet and piano), recipient of the OPUS Klassik and ECHO Jazz awards, embarks on tour in 2026 with his project "Memento Odesa" - together with the Odesa Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Volodymyr Dykyi and his band. This is already the fifth joint German tour.

"Memento Odesa" is a composition by Studnitzky himself. The work combines classical music with jazz elements and orchestral breadth with chamber intimacy - a tribute to the city of Odesa and its people, who are suffering from Russian aggression.

The project began in 2023: three pieces were recorded directly in the Odesa Philharmonic, in the midst of war, as a musical sign of solidarity with Ukraine. Since then, two collaborative albums have been created and released in Berlin.
