Argentine tango - German lyrics - with a wink!

Annette Postel takes on two contrasting roles: on the tango stage she performs her own tongue-in-cheek lyrics set to Argentine tango classics, accompanied by bandoneon player Norbert Kotzan (Bien Porteno) and pianist Noah Allmann. The whole thing is narrated by the Palatinate's "Madame de Toilette" - Postel's well-known comedy character Carmen, who tackles the ups and downs of male-female relationships with sharp wit.

Postel is a multi-award-winning chanteuse, musical parodist and cabaret artist - and Germany's only operatic comedienne. Having conquered opera, she now turns to Tango Argentino: she has been dancing tango for 18 years and brings her tango diary to the stage.

Norbert Kotzan is one of Germany's best-known tango instrumentalists. Together with Noah Allmann and "la Postel", the trio plays the grand emotions of tango live.
