The Capella Vocalis boys' choir from Reutlingen has held a prominent place in Württemberg's musical life since its founding in 1993. Numerous national and international prizes and awards reflect the choir's high artistic standards; since October 2025 it has been directed by Johannes Kaupp.

Following their last guest appearance in Gengenbach in 2021, the Reutlingen ensemble returns for another Advent concert. They will perform a varied programme of choral music spanning several centuries, centred on the themes of Christ's coming and the approaching Christmas season.
