Guided Tour of the Historic Rooms at Stadtschloss with Ascent of the Castle Tower - Seniorenbüro Stadt Fulda

The "Historic Rooms" of the former residence of Fulda's prince-abbots offer a window into life under absolutism. Alongside several rooms decorated in the Neoclassical style (19th century), the tour takes in the grand ballroom with its adjoining antechambers and a princely apartment from the first half of the 18th century. Information on the famous collections of Fulda and Thuringian porcelain rounds out the visit.

Afterwards, visitors can climb the castle tower, which reopened in autumn 2025 following extensive restoration works.
