Theater Liberi stages Hans Christian Andersen's beloved fairy tale as a contemporary musical adaptation. The professional ensemble tells the story of an outsider's loneliness and her longing for admiration and acceptance, alongside themes of courage and unconditional friendship. That contrast is reflected in the set design, which blurs the line between fantasy and reality. Musically, the audience is taken on a fast-paced journey through various genres with sweeping arrangements, rounded off by impressive choreography and striking lighting design.

Adventure in snow and ice
Gerda and Kay are best friends, inseparable since childhood. They lead perfectly ordinary lives until a winter storm rolls in over their town one day. That evening, Gerda's mother tells them for the first time about a magical queen - ruler of snow and ice. When Kay soon vanishes without a trace, Gerda sets out to find him. She ends up in a mysterious world where anything seems possible. Suddenly she is in the middle of an adventure, meeting funny characters, making an eccentric acquaintance and falling into the clutches of a peculiar gang. Luckily she is not alone and can count on unexpected help. But time is running out, and Gerda must summon all her courage to rescue Kay from the Snow Queen's icy realm...
