Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Requiem in D minor

On 20 November 2026, the Kantorei Holtenau, the school choirs of the Kieler Gelehrtenschule, and members of the Philharmonic Orchestra Kiel together with the Kantatenorchester der Dankeskirche will perform Mozart's Requiem in D minor under the baton of Anne-Beke Sontag. The concert starts at 7 pm at St. Nikolaikirche on the Alter Markt. The collaboration between the Kantorei Holtenau and the school choirs of the Kieler Gelehrtenschule, now nearly 20 years old, continues here - the conductor is particularly committed to introducing children and young people to major works of the oratorio repertoire and giving them the chance to take part in performing them. The concert opens with the opening of the Mass in D major by Antonín Dvořák.
