As part of the exhibition "Hella Jongerius: Whispering Things", we invite you to a conversation about the Spanish cult shoe brand Camper - its history and innovative approach to design. Lorenzo Fluxa came from a family of shoemakers and founded his company in Mallorca in 1975 to meet growing demand for a fresh, new direction in footwear. What began as a family venture grew into a distinctive brand that embraces diversity and contrast, now recognised worldwide. For Camper, design goes far beyond shaping individual products - it defines the identity of the company as a whole.

Through the "Camper Together" programme, the brand has built exclusive collaborations with leading designers and artists over many years, resulting in not just products but also unique store concepts. These partnerships have become a hallmark of Camper and show how creative collaboration drives innovation. One such collaboration brought Camper together with Hella Jongerius in 2009: as art director, she developed a comprehensive colour palette and system that could be applied across other collections.

Representatives of Camper will offer a behind-the-scenes look at their design processes, sharing the company's history, the philosophy behind "Camper Together", and the many collaborations with designers and artists.
