Posaune in Concert

The "Concerts at Prediger" series is aimed at young musicians and gives emerging artists the opportunity to gain stage experience.

Yannick-Maurice Groß from Herlikofen completes his bachelor's degree in trombone at Hochschule für Musik Würzburg (class of Prof. Andreas Kraft) in July 2026. Before his home audience, he presents parts of his examination programme - as a soloist on the Prediger stage. He has already gained recognition through his orchestra initiative Opus 8.

His programme spans from the Baroque era to contemporary music and jazz, showcasing the stylistic range of the trombone. The focus is on original compositions for tenor and alto trombone with piano, including works by Stjepan Sulek and Gordon Jacob.
