Kloster Bebenhausen is a well-preserved medieval monastery on the northern edge of Tübingen, founded in the late 12th century as a Cistercian abbey. After the Reformation it served various purposes, including as a royal hunting lodge for the Württemberg royal family. Today the complex - with its Gothic church, cloister and half-timbered buildings - is a state monument open to visitors and regularly hosts concerts and cultural events.
