Meersburg, Germany
The Neues Schloss in Meersburg is an 18th-century baroque palace perched above Lake Constance, built as the residence of the Prince-Bishops of Constance. Its grand state rooms and terraced gardens overlooking the lake make it one of the most striking baroque ensembles in the region. Today the palace hosts cultural events, concerts and exhibitions.
Christian Poltéra and Ronald Brautigam bring together all three of Beethoven's cello sonatas and the Sonata op. 101 in one chamber music evening at the Neues Schloss Meersburg.
The Klenze Streichquartett, formed by members of the Bavarian State Orchestra, performs its "Wiener Melange" programme featuring works by Mozart, Kreisler, Piazzolla and Shostakovich.
