Schloss Landestrost in Neustadt am Rübenberge is a Renaissance palace built in the late 16th century, one of the best-preserved of its kind in Lower Saxony. It served as a ducal residence for the Dukes of Calenberg and later housed various administrative functions. Today the palace hosts cultural events, concerts and exhibitions in its historic rooms and courtyard.
