The Stadttheater Wilhelmshaven is the home of Landesbühne Nord, a regional state theatre serving the north-west of Lower Saxony. The building dates from the 1950s and hosts a broad repertoire of drama, musicals, and opera productions throughout the season. As a touring company, Landesbühne Nord also performs at venues across the surrounding region.
