A family show inspired by "The Shoemaker Dratewka" by Janina Porazińska. Directed by Przemysław Jaszczak, adaptation and song lyrics by Magda Żarnecka, set design by Marta Ożóg, music by Miłosz Sienkiewicz.

This is a tale of a poor wandering shoemaker who travels from village to village, mending shoes and helping anyone in need. Along the way, he rescues ants and bees wronged by a bear and a lost duckling separated from its mother - all without expecting reward.

When Dratewka reaches a land tormented by an evil witch, he faces his greatest challenge: freeing Princess Malina imprisoned in a tower. This time, he may need help himself - will he receive it?

The show explores themes of selfless acts, building relationships, and attentiveness to others' needs, while subtly addressing consumerism - without heavy-handed moralizing.

Premiere: September 14, 2024. The production participates in the X Competition for Staging Classic Works of Polish and European Literature "Living Classics".
