Hello, This Is Bielicka! Or How to Be Like Hanka

The play draws inspiration from the friendship between Hanka Bielicka and Bogdan Brzezinski - the author of her monologues (he wrote around a thousand for her). She (Aldona Jankowska) - full of temperament, always on tour and always in the spotlight. He (Radoslaw Pazura) - introverted, rarely leaving his Krakow study, in the shadow of a star. Together they laugh, argue and create for nearly thirty years - all of it over the phone.

The production is Aldona Jankowska's tribute to Hanka Bielicka - for the actress, as for many, an unattainable role model. Jankowska evokes the figure of a cabaret legend who inspired her to find her own path and pursue her dreams.
