A theatrical production based on Ingmar Bergman's screenplay, translated by Andrzej Asłanowicz.

Two women wait for a third to die. They are sisters. This scene haunted Bergman for over a year before he undertook to realize his vision. Agnes's illness becomes for her sisters a catalyst for expressing suppressed feelings and deeply hidden resentment - a story about the power of sisterly bonds, revealed in the presence of death. Can we still forgive? Is reconciliation after years even possible?
